IN-PERSON CLASSES:

Ready to come back to the studio? Reserve your spot today! Classes are limited to maximum SEVEN students. Please bring your own mat & props, and maintain distance from other attendants. Students are required to wear a mask in all common areas. Once set up (on a designated mat space), students may remove masks. Don't have time to travel? Your in-person slot ($48/4-weeks) also gives you access to the class live-stream. Gain virtual access to ALL Tanaya's July live-stream classes for just $10 more with the All Access Virtual Plan!!!

Class Descriptions

Combine breath, movement, and intention to open the body and calm the mind. Each class blends alignment with gentle flowing sequences to promote strength, balance, flexibility, and relaxation.

 

GENTLE classes are slower with longer periods spent on working into poses; great for those new to yoga, healing from an injury, or looking for a calming practice.

 

ACTIVE classes include more movement, with options to challenge participants at their individual level. Participants should feel comfortable getting on and off the floor without support.

 

SUNRISE Yoga (very active) will wake both the mind and body to prepare you for the day. Be prepared to move, open, strengthen, and stretch with a fun flow and a few challenges!

PRENATAL: Connect with body, baby, and a community of moms-to-be while working to alleviate the discomforts of pregnancy. Classes are gentle and appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. Consult your doctor prior to class if high-risk pregnancy.

About Tanaya

Tanaya truly believes that yoga is for every body regardless of flexibility, experience, age, or injury. Her love for yoga developed once seeing the progress it made on her stiff body and the complimentary nature it brought to her running routine and, soon after, her life. She completed her Yoga Alliance certification in 2010 in Boulder, Colorado, where she taught for five years before moving to Nashville and now Rome. Tanaya holds a degree in Exercise Science and spent ten years working in various fields of health promotion. She is certified in both Kids Yoga (Cosmic Kids) and Geronotology, and has worked with individuals from ages 1-91! Tanaya’s approach to teaching is playful and creative, with classes designed to help students move safely and mindfully to create space in both body and mind. Expect to be challenged, but have fun!
